Baskin Robins 31.
Game Jack talked about at the Regional Seminar. Tried it at Okino. Ninensei were typically unethused and stubborn as usual. Love them all but BY MUHAMMAD, they frustrate the hell out of me.
Plus there are many "Landmine" students. You know, the ones that sit quietly but as soon as you rope them into a group activity, and it's there turn, BOOM, it's blown out the window and destroys the place with their retardedness and lack of drive. I keep on smiling though, despite taking several direct hits during the game.
Scared-Like-Fuck girl somehow managed to keep getting one of three numbers; 4, 11 or 24. I don't know how. It's like Okino is in some sort of Chance Distortion Field. That's how my coin flips constantly came up as a flower a few weeks ago! And now how she managed to get the same numbers despite it being a game of pepole randonmly choosing numbers! Maybe I'll build a casino here...
Anyway, she forgot each and everytime. God love her.
So the game bombed a little in ninensei.
HOWEVER, hope was not lost.
Ichinensei were awesome. AWESOME. Changed it to Baskin Robins 21, ripped a calender from the wall and set to it. They all did the little dance before each round, they all said it, and they all did their numbers well. The COMPLETE opposite to ninensei. Awesome! Did it two times, and at the end reprised the little dance to say goodbye and they all did it. Really fun.
Simple classes like that remind my why I love Okino. Taihen classes like 2-nensei remind me why I almost give up. I just hope the new Ichinensei will be as good as the kids were this year.
Where hope was lost today was in the promise that everyone was going to a staff meeting in Kaminoyama, which would have meant I could slowly make my way back to Nagai Koko, probably via my apartment, Yokubenimaru and the 100 Yen store.
As it was, 11:40 rolls on by and NO ONE leaves. In fact looking around every frickin' teacher is here. So I'm wondering WTF about this supposed summit meeting in Kaminoyama. And I'm still sat here, surfing away. The students have gone home. Nothing really to do exept talk about plants.
Going to McDonald's later to pig out with Chryssy one last time before she goes on Lent. Looks like it'll be solo McD's from now on. Then again I'll always have my tarted up Okinio students to appear randomly and surprise me, lol.
Oh and it's that time again:
WOULD YOU CLOSE THE MOTHERFUCKING MEETING ROOM DOOR INSTEAD OF TRYING TO FREEZING ME TO DEATH!!!
