McLent

It was sweet.  It was juicy.  It was succulent.  It was metabo.

Went to McDonalds last night to have McDonalds one last time with Chryssy before she embarks on Crazy Lent.

It was amazing.  We are two of only a few people who enjoy McDonalds and who are proud to say it.

Had the full works, including dessert and tea, to really make it an *event*, lol

Talking of unhealthy-but-nice things for you; I've gotten manys a cake or chocolate thrust upon me as gifts from various people.  Yumiko for "helping" her for Level 1 eikan, and some alcoholic chocolate from Yamani folk, with a nice English note reminding me I wasn't to drive if I ate it, which I read just before I considered eating it for lunch.

LOL.  Tom didn't want me to come to class for the first 30 mins.  Shock!  It's usually only 10, while he does a reading speed test.  What was the extra 20 mins for?

"Scolding"

LOL.  Apparently they didn't do so well on their vocab test and he was going to lay the smack down on them.  I half expected broken and bloodied students when I arrived.

At least he keeps me away for that shit.  I remember last year being in the room while Michiaki and Haga would scold them, only to suddenly turn to me and say "OK JoeyD, Go!!!"

Well, shit dude, you really buttered them up for me didn't ya?!  Oh and it would usually happen right before I tried an activity; not one of the shitty last minute activities but one I'd actually thought about.  So yeah, that would bomb...

Instead of scolding, it would be better for the teachers to keep on teaching English! What a waste of time. If they do shit in the test, they do shit in the test. They're not five years old. They are almost adults and if they make the decision to not study and begin the downward spiral into fucking up their lives then who cares?! Teachers sure know plenty of ways to not actually get any work done!

Next time...I wanna go to Maccas!!! I want the spicy chicken burger!
